CAMERON NUFLO 1502 WECO Union Liquid Turbine Flow Meter

WECO’s turbine flow meter shows the flow rate and assesses the total liquid line flow rate. When the fluid passes through the meter and the stove the machine moves with the same speed as the flow rate. The rotor propellers are moved to create an electric message (sine wave) by the magnetic pick up sensors. These pulses are transferred to the read-out device for the flow measurement. Optional configurations and/or designs for engine fluids like fog or cement, slurries and enzymes, allow erosion or corrosion.  The meter should be washed with smooth water after using erosive or corrosive liquids. The NUFLOTM 1502 WECO ® fluid flow meter is suitable for high-pressure injection water, the scale of the inhibitor and spiral-tube well-cleaning procedures. All applications include opening/ closing of the valve, mud / cut-out activity and flow-back therapy.

A range of alternatives is available, including: a carbon-free rod for increased corrosion resistance of selected chemicals. The silver brazed shaft will stand up to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C) and attack chemicals. Increased corrosion resistance to chemicals from selected nickel plate rotors (specifically ferrous corrosion acid materials). Modified rotors for applications with cement slurry or mud. The meter shall be mounted on the meter frame with the arrow connected to the stream line.  The upflow-and downflow flow meter must normally be fitted with a 2 “3” or 4 “1502” steel handling tubing joint at a distance from the direct tube; either the valves or the shocks must be downflow metre.
